The BOYA BY-WS1000 is a blimp windshield and shockmount system designed to significantly reduce noise from wind, shock, and vibration for sound recordists, boom operators, and videographers using shotgun microphones. It is sized to hold a single shotgun mic up to 12.6" long and between 20 and 22mm in diameter.

Thanks to the BWS1000's shockmount and internal coiled XLR cable, you can get your mic set up easily and quickly. The handle features a 3/8"-16 thread for attaching the system to a boompole. A 1/4"-20 thread adapter is included for mounting on a tripod.

The zippered dead cat furry windshield slips over the blimp for additional wind noise attenuation. A carrying case is included for safe and simple transport of the whole system.
